My internship experience

Hello! It's been a while since I write something here. There are a lot of pending posts that I wanted to publish, but I ended up saving them in the draft lol. I wanted to share about books that I've read, but I feel like I need to improve my writing just a little bit more before I can let them be read by public.

Let's save that for later, because now, I wanted to share about my internship experience.

I went for internship somewhere in the middle of Kuala Lumpur, starting from early of August till end of September, and tell you what, it was one of the best moments that I ever had in my life. My internship period was 2 months long, and my thoughts before going for the internship was like "nice short period of intern then I can dip". But after 2 months, I wish I could be there longer than planned :/

My working mode during that period of time was hybrid, where I only need to be at the office when needed. Most of the days would be me working from home. Although we were working from home most of the time, the interaction between my colleagues was really strong. They were really helpful and welcomed me with open arms. Whenever they wanted me to do something, they were not shy to give some guidance, so that I could do my assignments well. There were times that my job quality was not up to their standards, so they gave some feedbacks and point out the areas that I need to improve on. That makes my job much easier, plus helping me to adept to the working environment efficiently.

We had leisure days too, where we do activities together. We often went for lunch together, played futsal in the evening and shared some snacks when we had our on site working days. These little things made us work together as a team effectively, as we can learn about each other, and which area we can perform well.

Here are some pictures on what I actually do :D

So, to help you understand better, my job is to help people to be mentally and emotionally well :) Mostly, I played my role as a content creator, since I have education background in Psychology. Doing something that I enjoyed for living is really fun. There are also counselling sessions that we conducted in order to help those who are in need of help. This would definitely sharpen my skills to interact with people around me, and I could use those skills to help the community, as well as my friends and family members.

I guess that's about it. What's next for me? Well, team decided to absorb me immediately. I'll be back working next week :) I'm super grateful for the chances that god gave me and how He set my life up. Now, my mission is to focus on giving back to community, be it getting in touch with my long lost friends, or even helping those who need emotional support.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone who crossed my path at some point in my life. You shaped who I am today, and for that, I can't thank you enough. I appreciate everything that you do to me :) You know who you are, and by the time we meet in person, I would definitely say this to you because I really mean it. May god return the favor to you generously hehe. *hugs*
